This terraced house near Arsenal had been 'flipped' upside down many years ago, having all the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living and kitchen space upstairs. The current owners were keen to reconnect their living space with the garden and give more privacy to the bedrooms, while at the same time gaining some extra space for their family and frequent guests. We extended the ground floor at the rear with a glazed roof addition to maximise natural light for the new kitchen, and moved all the bedrooms upstairs. A loft extension made it also possible to add an extra bedroom and bathroom.
